The Sunstates team recognized Alexa Ponder of the DC region. Last month Officer Ponder was on-duty at the client site, and while she was reviewing real-time camera footage, she identified a female contractor in distress. Officer Ponder got on the phone with the Operations Director, the patrol team and the Account Manager; together, they stopped what could have been a serious situation. Within three minutes, the male involved in this incident was removed/banned from the property. Due to her diligent efforts, the client rewarded Officer Ponder with a gift card. Great work! During a site visit in Winston Salem, NC, members of the leadership team met with the site team to discuss operations. The officers do a great job ensuring visitors and site employees feel welcome and safe. Sunstates welcomes Bradly Lain, who joined the Dallas region as an Operations Manager in March 2022. With over fifteen years in the industry, ten of those in a management role, he'll be an excellent fit for this new position. After college, Bradly spent four years in the US Army as a combat engineer. Following, he worked as a Court Security Officer for five years; he then moved to a manager position. As a Dallas Division Manager for a security contract firm, Bradly supervised all security staff, office personnel and worked closely with the client. In addition, he oversaw the security team's hiring, training and scheduling. While Bradly managed the business operations, he made many enhancements and was able to cut costs to improve margins. Bradly holds a Texas guard card as well as many certifications, including Texas License to Carry instructor and Texas Private Security Level 3 instructor. His management skills and knowledge in the field will be an excellent support to the growing Dallas region.
Site Captain Beth Hoffman is an excellent asset at one of our Atlanta Region logistics facilities. This site is a new facility, and the guard house and gate are still under construction. Thinking outside of the box, the team is using the security checkpoint signs for the entry and exit of the facility until construction is complete. Further enhancing this procedure, the team uses our technology-based tracking platform to document both in-bound and out-bound loads. The client recently stated that the team's adjustments have proved to be extremely beneficial to their operations.
