All retailers want their customers to have an enjoyable shopping experience while at their store; if not, it will discourage that consumer from returning. Security personnel on-site will make visitors and store employees feel more at ease by deterring theft, handling a hazardous situation and delivering a watchful eye. Retail security services can entail an officer on foot, in a patrol car, or a combination of the two. Learn more about retail security services in this article and ensure your shopping center is ready for the holiday season. #RetailSecurity #SecurityServices #CorporateSecurity #SecurityCompany #ShoppingCenterSecurity #SunstatesSecurity #LossPrevention #CustomerService #SecurityTraining ##SecurityPersonnel #HolidayShopping #ShoppingCenterSecurity #ShoppingCenter #RetailCenter #SecurityOfficer #SecurityGuard

Congrats to Karen Rice on her promotion to Onboarding Specialist in the corporate office! At Sunstates, we love to promote from within, and Karen is a great example- having three roles during her employment. Karen Rice joined the Sunstates team as an officer in 2017, positioned at a front desk of a busy high rise in downtown Raleigh. She was the first point of contact for employees, tenants and visitors of the ten-story building. In addition, Karen assisted with several building facility procedures, such as mechanic checks and access control. After two years at that post, Karen was promoted to Office Administrator at the Sunstates corporate office. Her devotion to the office and its people earned her a second promotion within two years. In her current role as an Onboarding Specialist, she facilitates the onboarding of key personnel joining the Sunstates team. Tasks included are ordering necessary items such as cell phones and laptops, setting up their emails, requesting business cards and more. She is also responsible for team credentials for several software programs.
Site Supervisor Randy Bowers of the Nashville region celebrates five years with Sunstates Security! He is an essential part of the team and has excelled in his role. Recently the client at his site sent their appreciation stating, “I wanted to take a moment to recognize Randy for his hard work this week in assisting us during our access control issues. Randy called me first thing Monday morning when he noticed the doors did not unlock on schedule. As I was out of town and without my laptop, I was unable to log into the system. Due to the great amount of trust, we have in Randy, I asked him to walk up to our office so that I could talk him through logging into our end of the system, providing him with the password. Again, I could only share this information because of the trust we have in Randy and his reliability. Since the system schedules were intact, we could see right away that there was a bigger issue at hand. I called our access control provider to place an emergency call and told them that Randy would be their onsite point of contact until our office was open....
Senior Operations Manager Ralph Nemo was ecstatic to share great news with the team of officers at a site in Virginia. The client kindly awarded the officers with a bonus and stated, “We’re excited to have them be recognized for their consistent professionalism and hard work! These individuals have gone above and beyond in recent months as we have increased our contractor throughput given the engineering projects that have impacted that site. I can’t say enough about this team and their efforts.” Sunstates contributed by matching their bonus to give them double the amount. Ralph Nemo replied, “I consider myself blessed to have these wonderful folks representing Sunstates and our client with such professionalism!” Keep up the great work team- we all appreciate you! Two officers at an educational campus in Savannah, GA were awarded Officer of the Month. Thanks for your continued support, ladies, and terrific job! Regional Manager Da'Von McClure, PM-LPC, and Regional Support Manager Don White had this to say about them. Officer Courtney Williams was selected as Savannah Security Officer of the Month. Ms. Williams's work ethic, punctuality, and attitude are outstanding as she is always on time with a smile on her face. She has consistently gone above and beyond to help fellow security officers get the job done. We are happy to have an officer like Courtney on our team; fantastic job, Officer Williams! Officer Rivers started her career with Sunstates Security in April. Ms. Rivers accepted a very challenging post that requires her to be outside in the elements. However, not once did Ms. Rivers ever complain; in fact, she asked what else she could do to help every day. Whenever you come across Ms. Rivers, she always greets you with a smile. Ms. Rivers is always willing to provide a helping hand with any staffing issues. She stands true to the Sunst
