Site Supervisor Denise Fontenot from our Knoxville region was commended by our client. Operations Manager Donn Belz received an email from the client after a company executive visited the plant unannounced. The message from the Vice President read, “Sunstates Guard Denise was an amazing ambassador of our organization.” It was later found out that as Denise did not recognize this individual on the property, she conducted everything per protocol in a very professional manner to identify, guide and direct this visiting executive throughout his stay. Because of this, Denise was jointly recognized as the Supervisor of the Month for the Southeast Region. Along with this, both the client and Sunstates each awarded her with a bonus check. She was beyond words when presented but stated that she has never worked for a company like Sunstates before! Account Manager Elizabeth Watson applauds Security Officer Jamieson Dixon for two situations she handled exquisitely. "Officer Jamieson Dixon accepted Employee of the Month for February & March for her awareness and efficiency on the job. For example, Officer Dixon noticed a gas odor in the lobby that was discovered to be coming from a restaurant in the building; it turned out the pilot on the stove was faulty. Her quick action to call the fire department, the client contacts and the site supervisor about the situation helped avoid a serious issue. The following month Officer Dixon assisted the maintenance and building cleaners with water infiltration. She noticed the water entering the suite from the bottom of an exterior glass wall. Using the shop vacuum, Officer Dixon was able to help with the cleanup to remove the water quickly.
