Happy Women's History Month! We want to take this opportunity to highlight some women who have had a significant impact on millions of lives: 🩺 Clara Barton: Known as the "Angel of the Battlefield," Clara Barton founded the American Red Cross in 1881. Her tireless efforts in providing medical care during the Civil War and her dedication to humanitarian work have left a lasting legacy. 👩⚕️ Marie Curie: As a pioneering physicist and chemist, Marie Curie was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and remains the only person to win Nobel Prizes in two different scientific fields. Her groundbreaking research on radioactivity has had a profound impact on medical science. 💉 Virginia Apgar: An American obstetrical anesthetist, Virginia Apgar developed the Apgar Score, a quick and simple way to assess the health of newborns immediately after birth. Her work has saved countless lives and continues to be a vital tool in neonatal care. As we celebrate the progress made, let's also recognize that there is still work to be done. Let's support each other on the journey to equality.
