In addition to forming Planet Technology in January of 2021 with legacy technology Planet divisions and the acquisitions of WinterWyman, I.T. Works Recruitment, Inc., a niche Tech recruitment firm that places candidates in permanent and contract positions across North America. Originally founded in the U.K. in 2004, I.T. Works Recruitment expanded into the U.S. in 2013 and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. The dedicated staff and management team at I.T. BOSTON, MA (April 1, 2021) — The Planet Group, was named today by the Boston Business Journal as one of the “Largest Temporary Placement Firms” and one of the “Largest Executive (Contingency) Search Firms” in Massachusetts. Largest Temporary Placement Firm Twenty-two staffing companies were included on the Largest Temporary Placement Firms list on which The Planet Group ranked fifth. This is the first year that The Planet Group has participated in the list. For 17 years prior, Planet’s WinterWyman division (now Planet Technology and Planet Professional) has received recognition. Results were determined by the average number of temps supplied daily in Massachusetts. Largest Executive (Contingency) Search Firm The Planet Group also achieved a fifth-place ranking on the Largest Executive (Contingency) Search Firm list. In total, twenty-two recruitment firms made the list which was determined by Massachusetts’ contingency and retained search firm revenue. The BBJ defines executive search as the placement of individuals in full-time executive-level jobs paying at least $100,000/year.
