Did you know? A recent study, shared by Employee-Owned S Corporations of America, showed that millennials who work at employee-owned companies are better prepared for retirement. Torch is an ESOP, and while we are proud that employee ownership allows for our employee-owners of ALL generations to prepare for their future retirement, we wanted to share this encouraging report for all of our millennials. According to this survey, two-thirds of millennials working at ESOP companies expect to retire at or before age 65, twice the number of millennials at non-ESOP companies. Eighty-one percent reported having a personal stake in the company’s success and 72 percent said they saw opportunities for their own growth in the business.
