2022 Employee Appreciation Message
At Trader Interactive, we value the feedback of our employees to ensure that we’re continuously providing the best balance of collaboration, productivity, and flexibility. That’s why we’ve made the shift to a remote-first work environment—because we listen to our employees and believe them when they say that working remotely is how they’re most productive, comfortable, and happy in their job. That matters to us. This has allowed us to not only keep our employees safe during the ongoing pandemic, but also recruit and attract talent from across North America. In addition to prioritizing remote work, we are also working to reopen our primary corporate office in its new Virginia Beach location. This space will be accessible for local employees to utilize if they find that working from home is a challenge or if they simply prefer working in an office.

Careers - Trader Interactive
At Trader Interactive we believe that our diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives add value to our company to help drive success and create the best workplace for our employees to thrive in. In summer 2020, TI began an advisory committee to examine what diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) means at our organization and what our overall vision would be. Soon thereafter, we officially formed our DEI Council, made up of representatives from different parts of the company broken into three committees. Together, these three committees assess ways to celebrate diversity, create educational opportunities surrounding the different aspects of DEI, and discuss ways to make connections in the communities in which we work to support our DEI initiatives. This information is then shared with the company through the Trader HR website, emails, and internal events, such as our “Women in Tech” panel last year. The goal of the DEI Council is to create a welcoming culture of inclusivity where we celebrate the diverse cultures and experiences that both make us unique and unify us.

Careers - Trader Interactive
Trader Interactive strives to make a positive impact on the areas where we work and live. We achieve this by partnering with local nonprofit organizations to support their missions and strengthen our community. In the past, we’ve had employees volunteer at the Judeo Christian Outreach Center in Virginia to help feed our neighbors in need. Even when the kitchen was closed due to COVID, our employee volunteers made bagged lunches to distribute. TI has also partnered with the United Way of South Hampton Roads. Before the pandemic, we annually participated in the organization’s annual Day of Caring, a day of volunteerism throughout the community. In 2021, employees contributed more than $37,000 to the local nonprofit, our largest contribution yet, to advance the programming and initiatives of the philanthropy. Prior to COVID, we invited local nonprofit organizations to the office to share their work and ways our employees can give back to the community. We look forward to having more of these interactions, even as we work remotely. Learn more about Trader Interactive below.

About Us - Trader Interactive
Trader Interactive, a digital marketing company, moved its corporate headquarters to Dominion Tower, 999 Waterside Drive, in Norfolk on March 20, 2018. The company currently has 250 employees in the Norfolk office, and the move will allow the company to expand to accommodate additional staff. “This move is a milestone in Trader’s growth as a new, independent company,” said Lori Stacy, CEO. “Not only are we excited and proud of our new space, I’m especially happy to see how much the final product reflects input we gathered last year from our employees. We were focused on creating an open, collaborative environment where our innovative teams could thrive." Trader Interactive will occupy 39,081 square feet on floors 19, 20 and 21 of Dominion Tower. The building sits on the Elizabeth River with floor-to-ceiling views of the downtown waterfront. CBRE represented the landlord and Trader Interactive, and the lease is the largest office transaction in Norfolk within the past two years.
