UNC Medical Center is now hiring an RN Patient Services Manager III for our Burn Center in Chapel Hill. The NC Jaycee Burn Center is North Carolina's only center of excellence specializing in burn care. The Burn Center is a 21-bed ICU capable unit providing services to burn patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, including all levels of acuity, from the most critical through the rehabilitation phase. The Burn Center undergoes a rigorous verification process by the American Burn Association to ensure we continue provide the most advanced, highest quality burn care. Manager duties include ensuring that appropriate care and services are available to patients and families, ensures adequate and appropriate clinic staffing on each shift, supervision of nursing staff, medical support staff and utility aide staff, assistance with annual performance reviews of staff, and participation in quality improvement initiatives to address identified patient safety or quality of care issues.
