We are thrilled to announce that Kathryn Armstrong, PhD, will be assuming the role of Chief Scientific Officer at USANA. Joining us in July 2024 as executive vice president of research and development after an extensive search, Kathryn impressed us with her passion for science and her visionary approach. Her alignment with Dr. Wentz’ mission and dedication to elevating USANA make her the perfect fit for this role. Kathryn brings 17 years of scientific experience to USANA, holding a BS in chemistry from Loyola University Chicago and a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame. Her remarkable credentials extend beyond academics, with numerous published articles, prestigious awards, and a professional history at leading organizations such as Amway, BISSELL, and Whirlpool. “I am very excited to have Dr. Armstrong serve as our chief scientific officer,” said Jim Brown, CEO and president of USANA. “Kathryn brings extensive experience and strong credentials that demonstrate USANA’s commitment to putting science at the forefront of everything we do. Kathryn succeeds Dr. Robert Sinnott, who successfully led our research and development initiatives since 2016. We are grateful he will continue to contribute as senior scientific fellow in an advisory capacity. Please join us in welcoming Kathryn Armstrong to this new role! As part of World Suicide Prevention Day, Promise2Live is holding its third annual global live stream on promise2live.org on Sunday, September 10, 2023 6-9 p.m. MDT.
