The United Way of Greater Cincinnati is hosting a return of their "kindergarten boot camp," Me and My School, this summer. Based on 2014 evaluations, UWGC knew the initiative was a winner. Using a combination of mobile platforms and PSA outreach, it raised $570,000 in a few weeks time. After a steering committee made up of community leaders and government officials analyzed the grant applications, UWCM awarded money to 23 local nonprofits and churches.
