Vail Resorts Employees Join Efforts to Do Good -This year, Vail Resorts sent volunteers from Kirkwood Mountain Resort and Heavenly Mountain Resort to help clean up. Vail Resorts supports a change in compensation - Vail Resorts, one of Colorado's largest employers, is increasing its minimum wage for entry-level positions to $10 an hour. Beginning Sept. 26, the resort operator will raise the minimum wage it pays employees in the eight states in which it operates. It represents an increase of up to $3 above the state minimum wage depending on the location. The company will raise its entry-level pay each year based on inflation.
