CLUB HONORED TO ANNOUNCE 5 STAR PLATINUM CLUB OF AMERICA AWARD 5 Star Platinum Club logo SEATTLE, November 10, 2016 — The Washington Athletic Club (WAC) has been recognized for the eighth consecutive time as a Platinum Club of America. Among other criteria, Platinum Clubs are judged based on their amenities and facilities, staff and service, quality of membership, governance and fiscal management, and overall experience. “We are honored to again be recognized as one of the best private clubs in America,” said WAC President & CEO Chuck Nelson. “Awards are wonderful to receive, but it is our membership that truly drives us to greatness.” From its earliest days, the WAC has been recognized for providing the best private club experience nationally. The premier city athletic club has maintained a true commitment to enriching members’ comprehensive wellness and quality of life; supporting amateur athletics in the community; and preserving the Clubhouse, a Seattle historic landmark.
