This week, we celebrated World Water Monitoring Day! 💧 At Watts, we’re committed to protecting water quality with innovative monitoring systems that help ensure safe, clean water for communities everywhere.
In partnership with the Clean River Project and our community giving program, Watts Cares, 25 Watts team members from North Andover, MA pulled almost one and a half tons of trash from the Spicket River. This annual project is part of our ongoing commitment to keeping our waterways clean and supporting our mission to provide safe, clean water around the world. Join our effort by cleaning up your local waterway today!
Dozens of Watts employees came together to pack 200 backpacks filled with school supplies for students at the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence. Thank you to our local Employee Engagement team and all of our volunteers!

Happy birthday to our founder, Joseph E. Watts (July 18, 1840 – December 29, 1894). 🎉 In 1857, at the young age of 17, he emigrated from Cheshire, England to Lawrence, Massachusetts. As a skilled machinist, brass finisher, iron manufacturer, and inventor, Watts was considered a “jack of all trades,” working in the Pacific Mills to support the textile industry. In 1874, Watts founded his own independent machine shop, known as the Watts Regulator Company, which supplied machinery parts and fittings to local textile mills. During this time, he achieved widespread fame for his inventions like the steam and water pressure regulators. Learn more about our history: https://lnkd.in/etn3sAgv
