Last week we gathered with colleagues and friends from the Boston life sciences community to watch selections from the #RareDiseaseFilmFestival and hear about the power of storytelling to build connections in #RareDisease. Thank you to the families who shared their stories through these films - we are humbled to be a part of the rare disease community and are working every day to advance the science of genetically defined diseases like #Duchenne and #Huntingtonsdisease. One of our favorite Wave traditions is to invite someone from the #Duchenne community to design our advocacy walk T-shirts. This year’s creation was developed by Brian Brown, whose love of superheroes inspired his design of Wave Man.
