As we reflect on the United States’ 250th birthday, we are grateful for our nation’s freedoms and the sacrifices of those who have defended our country. At WinCo, we are also grateful to our employee owners and the hard work they dedicate to support our communities as they prepare for Independence Day celebrations. So many of the treasured 4th of July staples like burgers, hot dogs, watermelon, and more wouldn’t be able to reach our tables without their help! As we look ahead, we remain excited for the upcoming celebration of our annual “Employee Ownership Week.” During this week, we take time to celebrate our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). As part of the ESOP, WinCo currently contributes stock equal to 20% of an eligible employee’s annual compensation. In other words, “We Own This Place.”
