You get a set amount of PTO, which seems pretty standard.

Vacation time is accrued as you continue working at the company and can be carried over to the following year up to six weeks.. Vacation starts at two or three weeks, depending upon level of employment. Holidays are normally nine paid days time-off plus one birthday holiday every year.

PTO is standard 10 days to start accruing over time which, of course, results in paltry time off in a culture where switching companies every four years is the norm.

--RSU sucks, Amazon vests only 10% of all you RSU during the first two years, ridiculous. --Promotion can be really difficult, no promotion no raise in salary

Standard three weeks per year. Pretty easy to request time off. They do not separate PTO and sick days, so it's up to you how to use your time off.

Combined PTO and sick days. Which means no one ever takes sick days and either come in sick or work from home. But not a problem and fairly typical.
