Terrible benefits. Huge out of pocket expenses.

It covers a lot but gets more expensive and less comprehensive every year. For a health care provider I would expect more

People work really hard at my team. If you have something coming up, you can work remotely which is permitted.

Health insurance coverage is very poor. Premiums are $160 per month with $5000 co-insurance/maximum out of pocket cost. ER co-pay is $250. Insurance coverage has a lot of loop-holes to keep Banner from having to pay for your healthcare.

Pros
Great Health vision, and dental plan! Not as expensive as others that I have worked for in the past. They offer a decent 401k package and PTO once you get past the 5 year. They are flexible with your work schedule when you are a salaried employee. They offer telecommuting from home! They offer a a lot of opportunity for growth from within the company. Everyone is nice, friendly and professional.
Cons
They make you take Mandatory PTO around the holidays and they do not separate the Sick, Vacation and Holidays they are all lumped into one pool. They don't offer any training to advance your career or motivate the employee's to move up in the company. No overtime or comp days offered when working past your 40 hours as a salaried employee. Goals are unattainable to even get a decent raise. Banner likes to work with the bare minimum and don't seem to care about the life work balance at times!

For being a healthcare company, you'd think their employees would be offered better healthcare. I get as good, if not better healthcare coverage through my significant other.

For being a healthcare facility that is wide spread, their treatment of health benefits for their employees is horrific.
