Blackbaud has 2 High Deductible Health Plans (Core & Premium HDHP), 1 PPO plan, and 1 EPO plan in place through Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina. All full-time employees are eligible to elect medical coverage for themselves and for their dependents on their first day of employment! Blackbaud has an income-sensitive cost sharing structure. This means that the amount the employee shares in the cost of healthcare coverage will depend on their income level, creating a more balanced cost structure.

I am a huge fan of the Cored HDHP plan at Blackbaud. The employer subsidy on this plan lowers my monthly premium for my family to under $300. By taking advantage of the HSA plan, I am able to put away money tax free to not only pay any out of pocket medical expenses that I have, but you ca also invest everything over $1000 in mutual funds that return investment gains to my account tax free! Best medical plan ever!

a few decent options, but can be costly so they keep looking to off-load more on employees

Good cheap insurance for those that don't need to go that often and are fine with just paying out of pocket.

The EPO option is affordable, but little discounts for adding dependencies across all options.
