2 weeks sick leave, but, for non-union positions, if you use it, management may give you a low rating on your Performance Management.

During the years I worked for the Boeing Company I was issued sick-leave based on the number of years of employment. It was issued in time allotments of weeks based on the number of years of employment effective at the beginning of your employment anniversary. This is different from earning "so many days of sick-leave based on the number of days worked in that year of employment".

It keeps getting chopped. It's always been 2 weeks annually. Early in my career I we also got personal business time. These could be used when you had to pick up your kids, or had a dentist or doctors appt. As long as you were not abusing it and got your work done it was fine. There was a culture of trust. Then McDonnell Douglas took over. Now theory X wins the day, so this gone. Also when they took it away management said "oh now you can use your sick leave for anything". Not so anymore, using sick leave is frowned upon at Boeing now. I should say this varies from manager to manager
