Employee discount for hotel stays is after your stay. You must submit it to qualify. For all the trouble the discount doesn't save you much money.

Employees are joined automatically on Genius program, in which is given 10% off. Anyone who's genius receive 10% off, doesn't matter if you are employee or not.

Employees are given Booking.com travel credit reimbursement, paid out the following quarter & heavily taxed

You get 25% reimbursement for bookings through Booking.com

There is not a real discount plan

It's nice to get 25% back after your stay. However, it takes upwards of 2 months to get the money back. And remember that they are making 15-18% of that 25% back from the hotel in commission. Plus they are getting tons of user data for free by making you fill out multiple surveys.

You get a certain amount in Euros, as it is a Dutch Company to be refunded to you for hotel stays.
