What this "benefit" really means that your vacation is at your manager discretion. And employees are not compensated for unused vacation time when they leave. And some folks have hard time getting their "unlimited" vacation granted.

as long as you book your vacation in advance no one will count days off. that means you can take as many as you want, depending on your progress and availability, one day off is usually not a problem at all.
