You gain 8 hours of Vacation time per month and it doesn't carry over at the end of the year so if you want a extended vacation, it has to be at the end of the year in which everyone in your dept is fighting for. I haven't had an issue as of yet, but I have heard stories of it being common place that vacation time is often forfeited for this reason.

5 weeks paid vacation after you reach a certain tenure plus an option to buy an extra week. Sick time is great as well
