Having several options to choose from was nice. That way depending on your level of expected medical care you had several options to choose from. All were reasonable, and had large networks.

Good for those people that don't get sick very often. It can cost you nothing out of pocket. They reward you for being healthy and going to the doctor. If you get really sick or you have kids it can cost a lot of money to the employee.
