Retirement Plan

Retirement plan is offered, based on pay and builds up over time. Can take it with you when you leave the company and roll it into another savings plan if desired or leave it there and take the pay per month when you retire

Includes pention and 401k which is very rare.

Do not get access to the Retirement Plan until 5 years of service.

I think it is one of the best

Above average, an awesome 401k and pension plan. Your not vested in your pension until after 5 years.

a pension plus an amazing 401K cannot be beat. I am not a fan of the point system, but It will work fine and I am on track to retire by 50.

It is all over the place. Chevron has merged with Texaco and other companies and have migrated and mixed in the retirement plans. So it is confusing and lacks consistency.

It is a good retirement plan and provides a pension. 2 weeks pay for every 1 year worked, up to 52 weeks pay.

I've been working at Chevron for 8 plus years and have made some really great friends and have really great mentors. Unfortunately, the company needs to rehaul their managers and the culture.
