Employee Discounts

It can be a really big discount depending on the market, and if you're lucky enough to get one of the limited rooms. It can be very hard to get what you want.

Choice offers discounted hotel rates to their employees but they are not across the board and not all their hotels offer the discount. Most of the hotels are below standard, dirty, and not even worth the discount.

The discounts are very nice but sometimes the hotels themselves are not

The employee discount for Choice Hotels is actually a great deal. I think I paid less than half a normal room rate, while traveling and you can stay at most hotels in the network if they have a room available for you. The only hard part is you have to have your manager submit your request for you at my hotel, maybe others too. You can get 2 rooms per stay with family and friends discount or just one for you.

The hotel discounts were awesome to have but difficult to come by, not offered at every hotel

Just make sure you check with customer relations first for complaints against the property you choose to stay at.. You may end up wanting to stay at another nearby Choice property after checking for complaints & bedbugs.

I use the hotel discounts very often. This allows me to travel inexpensively which is important to me.
