Work From Home

I was able to work from home 100% of the time but that varied by organization within the company. Some did not allow it at all, some only Fridays, etc. Also, remote workers, those that worked 100% from home, seemed to often be targets during layoffs, so it was a double edged sword. i.e. the reason for the 3 vs 4 or 5.

It all depends on your boss...

The best thing about working from home is that I don't have to drive in traffic most days and I can work in my yoga pants when I'm home.

in fact, too generous that people don't come to work

No pressure to come in, it's a good idea to show up but you work with some people who are remote all the time. Culture supports flexibility and working from home. Very good for people with kids.

Provided excellent equipment including routers with VPN, pc, docking station, IP phone, etc

Most employees work from anywhere they prefer - home, coffee shop and vacation rentals during holiday season
