As with most companies, this benefit is quite expensive. Fortunately, there are several options. This adds a level of complexity but allows you to make a choice that works for you and your family. I chose th BCBS HSA so I could roll over my annual spending account. This also allows you the flexibility to invest part of your HSA from your benefit wallet. So you reduce your taxable income, and can possibly earn a modest return while they sit in an account for you to use for your medical needs.

Expensive for poor quality insurance, but this is more of a societal issue than strictly faulting the company.
