i enjoyed this benefit the most allowed me to have a better work life balance.

It would be nice if they let you cash out PTO but good paid time off.

Paid time off is pretty standard, and you begin accruing the first of the month after you start with the ability to start using it after 90 days. I personally took over a week hit with PTO by moving to the company, but I was expecting it due to having much more tenure at my previous employer. The flexibility that comes with working remotely made up for the difference I feel.

Everyone is entitled to the same pool based on tenure. You have a single pool of Paid Time Off (PTO). Worrying about losing sick days are a thing of the past. No worries tracking personal, vacation, or sick time. Your Paid Vacation Time is also IN ADDITION to your PTO days. Just schedule ahead of time with your manager and you are good to go. Unplanned days are just considered unscheduled. You also earn PTO the day you start which is quite nice.
