We have 401K and Pension

Dow still offers a Pension. In 2009 it was severely axed. Today, it's effectively a savings plan that marginally exceeds inflation. They save 5% of your salary and let it grow between 2-4% depending on the year. It vests in 3 years (0% until then). I'd prefer the 5% in my 401k to grow more than inflation..

They have great retirement plan incentives

5% Pension Plan into a hypothetical account (high-risk) and growth rate is below the cost of living. Come-On Dow just put it in our 401k plans.

Pension is tiny. 401K match is on the low end of average. Retiree medical is not offered. Combined the overall retirement plan could be improved.

Different plans to chose from through Fidelity

Pension is a very good program, but the full program is much less for the newest employees.
