Average sick days, but billable metrics keep people from taking much sick time.

6 sick days per year and you can carryover. Some managers allow employees to use sick time as vacation, but others don't. The inconsistency is frustrating. Also, taking sick time impacts your billable rate, which can be hard to achieve, so many people do not take sick time when they should. Bereavement also negatively impacts your billable target, which is disappointing and just wrong.

Six days are allotted a year for sick leave, for you or to take care of a family member. Days are non-billable, which means they count against your metrics.

ERM doesn't fold sick time in with vacation time as "paid time off" so when you are sick you don't feel like you are wasting a vacation day
