Fastenal benefits

Limited benefits as I was a part-time employee who was only working there for a fixed amount of time while I was available. Not sure how the benefits package works for full-time employees

Nice work atmosphere, 401k after a year nice dental and vision and insurance in general. Good hours and nice people throughout the company. Treated well by upper management.

Worst- 401k isn't matched at all. Insurance is high deductible plan only, no other options. No vision is offered. Life insurance is very low. Best- 401k management firm is Merrill Lynch, first year full time employees receive 2 weeks vacation

Health insurance has too high out of pocket, which we are not getting paid enough to pay off.

The best thing about the benefits is they offer a 401k, profit sharing, employee discounts, paid time off and lots of support

the insurance is a super high deductible so you end up paying for everything out of pocket. commission is awful since they deduct money from you if your store doesn't stay at 50% margin. Problem here is there are often corporate negotiated pricing that negatively effects your over all margin. So you get punished for corporates actions.

I only worked part-time so I didn't really receive benefits. My manager was real cool about personal time off and letting make it up other days. They also get killer did on Crystal too.

I have a child that requires vision therapy and vision isn't covered by Fastenal. That is my biggest complaint.

Their benefits package is standard within the industry and market sector. They do not offer Vision, and their health coverage is somewhat below average.
