First Republic Bank increased the maternity leave policy to 12 weeks (from 8 weeks) in 2016. First Republic Bank also added a paternity leave policy for 6 weeks. Leave is based on eligibility.

Thank you for your post regarding the Bank’s paid leave benefits. This information is provided to clarify the leave benefits that are currently offered by the Bank. In an effort to support employees in balancing work and personal matters, the Bank recently enhanced its paid leave benefits to provide an employee on maternity leave with 12 weeks of paid leave. The 12 weeks consists of up to 6 weeks of paid disability leave and up to 6 weeks of paid child-bonding leave. The 6 weeks of paid child- bonding leave is offered to both new moms and new dads.
