GE benefits

Pros - GE benefits package is one of the best in the nation. Cons - Too many old-school mentality, and work isolation from other teams does not benefit overall progress of the business.

It may sound strange, but their permissive leave policy. This policy allows each employee to negotiate vacation time with their manager, instead of having a set number of days per year. I prefer to have a set number of days to use as I see fit, instead of feeling like the company is doing me a favor every day they "Let me" take the day off. Also, whenever you separate with the company, you won't get paid for your unused vacation time because you technically have none.

Permissive leave is the best benefit we have, by far!

Great benefits package. The health benefits has become more expensive over the past couple of years.

Best is flexible time off, and the worst is there is no pension plan offered for new employees, just 401k.

Awesome package ... so much work involved.

The nice thing about this benefit package is that it is so generous. The health insurance covers lots of stuff I would not thought possible to use.

The total benefits package offered is pretty good. However, insurance coverage is tiered based on salary. IE - The more you make, the more your insurance is going to cost you. Furthermore, the BC insurance isn't what you would expect from a company of this size and caliber. Premiums are very high and doesn't cover much at all.
