GE strives to provide competitive employee benefits packages in the regions and industries in which we have a presence. Our wide range of employee services, retirement, health and other benefit plans are designed to help eligible employees make the best decisions for themselves, their family, and their lifestyle.
People is the best asset of GE. Nothing wrong with a benefit package, it is OK. Comparable with other companies of a similar size.

GE is a well put together company. While I was there my HR manager was allowed maternity leave and an acting HR manager was put into place. They take care of their employees, they had a Hispanic Forum that I was part of during my time there.

Nice benefit package with matching 401k and decent medical benefits. Nothing over the top with special perks but solid benefits from a solid company.

The company went to an unlimited vacation policy with manager approval. Don't kid yourself if you think the company did this for the benefit of the employee. They did this so they never have to pay out a lump sum payout for unused vacation. GE is as corporate as they come when worrying and caring about employees.

New employees get the same amount of vacation as those of us that are 20 year employees. Small raises unless we brown nose.

The benefits are quite good. Health, dental and eye. 401k match and high performers are given stock options. In digital we extended bonuses to all layers of the company as well.
