The worst thing is that if you're a new employee, benefits are practically on a complete freeze for a year until they're fully accessible. As a warehouse worker, you hardly get to take time off unless you've been there for over 5 years, and vacation time here is a joke. The benefits are not worth the physical toll that being a Manufacturing Operator takes on you.

Insurance is expensive. Permissive time is awesome.

Previous vacation days earned was changed to permissive time off, those retiring with long service lost all their acrued time off prior departure, saving the company millions

There is unlimited time off, but only benefits you if you can actually take the time off work. Usually too many critical tasks to be completed to make any meaningful time off possible.
