GE strives to provide competitive employee benefits packages in the regions and industries in which we have a presence. Our wide range of employee services, retirement, health and other benefit plans are designed to help eligible employees make the best decisions for themselves, their family, and their lifestyle.
The worst thing about the benefits package is the health insurance with high deductible. The best is the time off that is available.

Expensive health care with coverage options available to help meet the needs of the family, seems in keeping with or above other companies. Company has worked to offer improved maternity/paternity leave.

A socialist mentality with the more you make the more you pay for healthcare. A tiered cost plan for healthcare penalizes individuals who chose to obtain the degree required for the professional type jobs of engineering, sales, accounting, etc. Why not continue this scale above $150k so management pays the same percentage as the professional and lead band employees.
