GE benefits

health insurance & the 401k are generally excellent

Used to be a great company, and had pride working there. Now it is just a shell of its former self. Medical expensive for what you get.

We get “permissive time off” which means that you can take vacation as long as your manager approves it. You are not capped at two weeks etc when you start working at GE. That also means you can’t cash out any unused vacation when you retire.

Not sure of the benefits

Fair on par with other local large companies.

As an employee your benefits start the day you are hired. An aggressive 401k program as well as affordable health insurance plans. Overall, one of the best employee benefits packages around.

good benefits at GE, very generous

Stock compensation is unhelpful when the stock is worthless.

So far, I do not know too much about the benefits package. This part may be updated after I join GE.
