Job Training

Most of the training was done on the computer. Managers were kind of bad at training you anyway.

They do you teach you almost everything that you need to know.

Paid training is t very simple and easy to digest

Its a real quick training, you don't have time to train for a week, only 1-2 days

There is a lot of training on "sponsored" and hit products but sometimes training for new in store technologies or procedures can be pretty lacking.

I have worked at gamestop for 3 separate holiday seasons. The first year on my first day knowing that this was my first job ever they put me behind a register on black Friday. I was a shy nerdy girl fresh out of high school when they did this. It was sink or swim and I sank like a rock. The second time I explained what happened to me at a previous gamestop and they just had me stocking shelves and such. I wanted to learn the pos system but they didn't care to teach me. The third time I was placed in front of a register there was some sort of computer error and my manager didn't care to fix it. Though my fellow GAs did help me out a lot along the way there really never was any official training.
