You pay yearly amount plus $40 copay, you get a free exam and lens fit IF you agree to buy the lenses they cover. Then you get a free half a year set of contacts. If not, you pay the lens fee and you get a credit towards the lenses you want. If you don’t have contacts, or you wear contacts for astigmatism, you’re better off out of pocket because you would pay roughly the same amount.
