If you aren't on the corporate side of the company, or at least a salaried employee, good luck getting the time off you want as it's first come first serve for the hourly folks. Hourly departments allocate X amount of hours per day for shrinkage so once the cap is met for that day you will need to find someone to swap shifts with or be relegated to calling out and using sick time instead of the vacation hours you'd have preferred to use.

Fantastic, I got about 4 hours vacation time every two weeks. After some time I got bumped up to a little over 6 hours per two weeks.

Full time, salaried employees get flex time off which is very much like unlimited time off (even if we don't use it all :) )

Generous vacation time, extremely inflexible with short term requests. As a parent I don't know when my children, myself or a dependent will be sick. I don't know when something will come up. Basically with 2 personal days and 6 days of sick time, you cannot have more than 8 days (calling in the day of or a day you weren't able to get approved a minimum of 2 weeks in advance pending all of the allotted hours haven't been already requested by another employee. It is a very big stressor and with over 60 hours banked in vacation time, I shouldn't have to lose my job as a loyal employee to take a same day absence. Life happens. All or most of the other departments in the company have unlimited vacation. To those who make this decision please consider that the people on the front lines building business and taking tough with constant abuse and belittlement multiple times of day... please consider compassion and flexibility for those of us who are trying to do it all.

Taking time off is very flexible. There is no concept of vacation time or PTO, you just take the time you need and coordinate with your team!
