They give the most vacation out of any company I know! I have more vacation time than I can use..if only I could afford to take a vacation....

Used to be amazing but recent company policy changes make it next to impossible to take time off

Its great knowing you can take the time off to be with family and friends and know you are still going to be getting a paycheck

Flex time off is awesome. Depending on the team you're on, they can be very liberal with it as long as you perform well.

Vacation time at Godaddy appears to be frowned upon. They may not agree, but that is kind of how employees feel. I know another employee that had a family emergency. She even provided proof to her supervisor. But the Supervisor gave her a verbal warning for her file the next day. I just feel that was unncessary. If it happened multiple times, then maybe then it would be ok, but not on the first time with proof.

Unlimited vacation time. Unlimited anything that you cannot use is not a benefit.

You accumulate vacation time and personal time at different rates based upon tenure. I can't remember the exact amount of vacation and PTO but it is a good amount.

You initially think you've got a GREAT vacation package. But in reality. you're not able to take off the time when you want it, can only get it off in small amounts and then only if you submit way in advance (and then have to more often than not submit for an over-ride - and then have to actually come up with a reason that they may think is worth it. And then you don't find out until right before you need to take it, meaning no time to actually plan, purchase tickets, whatever. Usually you just end up still taking the time off and sitting at home because you want any excuse not to go to the stress center.
