employees at great clips get a forty percent discount on any service at the salon, or product that you want to buy. So I would say that it is about average compared to other salons.

There is a mandatory 3 day "Great Clips Academy" that every new hire must attend, no matter how long they have been cutting hair. At least you get paid.

You have to go for a week of training. It is 8hrs long each day and very informative even for a well seasoned stylist

They send you to classes when you hire in. You also have other class options along the way.

Depending on your manager in the salon. Some managers do more then others and are more dedicated.
