Reduced or Flexible Hours

They say they will work around your schedule so that you could have a full time job and only work in the evening and weekends, or however you need to arrange your schedule. However, both the store manager and the district manager changed my hours weekly, sometimes daily, and to times when I said I wasn't able to come in. I had to cancel social plans numerous times at the last minute to come in to work for a few hours. However, I have talked to people who work in other stores who say their store manager does not mess with their scheduling and even protects their schedule from the district manager. I guess it depends on who your store manager is.

You might able to pick up your flexible schedule but sometimes have to follow the assignment by managers

This organization definitely works with any persons schedule. This organization wants the employee to be in their best state, in order to perform their best.

Block is great as a second job or even a job for a young parent. If you have to leave in the middle of the day to pick up a child from school, you can return later when the child is at daycare or the babysitter has arrived. Or you can work just while the child is in school or after the spouse gets home from work.

you really can set your own schedule around another job, childcare, etc.

My office manager works with us and tries to help everyone in the hours department. They understand this is a part time position, and try to abide to your needs
