No sick leave, previously existing sick leave was taken away without notice and the PTO accrual rate did not increase to match the sick leave plus PTO that existed prior. Effectively lost a third of paid time off.

Health insurance is managed by United Health Care. It was the worst experience I have had with health insurance. A medicine I had been taking for over 10 years was denied for coverage at a cost of over $200 a month. The decision was made by a Pharmacy Assistant with little or no review of my medical history.
When going on Cobra had problems getting signed up then during open enrollment could not access the required screens. Opened an issue with UHC with no resolution. They took the opportunity to reduce my coverage and drop my wife's coverage. Response when provided dates, times, and reference numbers for reporting the issue was 'sorry you didn't respond during open enrollment' even though there is clear evidence I tried and could not.

The health, dental, and eye insurance are fine. The co-pay seemed fair, I never had a chance to utilize them. The project was completed before I had a chance.

It sucks. Can’t compete with Bay Area companies
