Not enough doctors in their PPO network, customer service is TERRIBLE, they don't send a benefit insurance membership card. (You ask for one on the internet and they send you a piece of paper from a laser printer, You have to repeat the request for every additional card you need for your kids or spouse, The internal team assigned to help Health Net staff with their Health Net insurance information needs knows nothing about the benefits and refers associates to Web sites run by al the different vendors that actually insure Health Net staff. This applies to health benefits, health spending accounts, EAP coverage, the dental and vision plans, any life insurance or disability coverage you buy for you or a family members. It's a low cost player but you get what you pay for, It is embarrassing to anyone who has every worked at Kaiser or Blue Shield because we know first hand just how weak the member experience is at Health Net. (But we have to advocate for the company with friends and family to avoid damaging our stock price)
