Vacation & Paid Time Off

Takes a very long time to earn PTO unless you have been with the company for more than 15 years. It must be used for everything- sickness, vacation,etc. and if you become ill/injured and need to go on FMLA, they will empty out your PTO account first. Very difficult to get time off approved, have to go through many levels of leadership and they want to know every detail of why you want/need the time off, and forget trying to get time off during the summer or holiday weeks unless you know the right people.
