Very nicely done job training. It was very well organized and you get paid for it! The training days were long, but they were well worth it to learn about your job.

Hy-Vee had a lot of training for the job that we are supposed to do. We had to not only do online training, but we would be trained by managers and current employees as well.

For cashier training I went through a computer module and that was it. My first Cheshire training shift someone literally logged me on to the register and walked away. I was on my own. Needless to say I was constantly having questions where I needed to step away from my register and find someone to ask for help. Also had a customer come through that first day with $400 worth of groceries. Obviously I was slow and I had nobody helping me bag or anything and was never shown how to get courtesy help. I think they should have a worker at the very least stand with you for a while so you get the gist of it.

Job training is performed by another employee kind of unprofessionally, but done well.

Job training was swift as I was obligated to be the more experienced dishwasher very early on due to a humorously high turnover rate for former fellow employees.

Not so good at least at the location I was at. The training was pretty rushed and not very helpful

They trained you how to cashier. SO you get practice by your self for 2 hours then the rest of your shift you actually check people out.

Training consists of 2 hrs. I've seen people fired before even finishing training.
