Great Pension if you are looking to retire at IBM

As of 2024, IBM has replaced its traditional 401(k) matching with an automatic company-funded Retirement Benefit Account (RBA). You can still contribute to your own 401(k) through Fidelity, but IBM no longer provides a dollar-for-dollar match to those specific contributions. From 2027–2034, the rate will tie to the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield, with a guaranteed minimum of 3%.

removed 401k matching and moved that to a fixed in-house plan which is way below market expectations.
