High Premiums make High Deductible HSA the only viable option for a family, but IBM continues to reduce what is covered and significantly decrease the employer HSA contribution.

New U.S. Medical changes for 2019 just announced. PPO options no longer have any coverage at all for out-of-network, and premiums have increased 10-20%, despite this decreased coverage. Much internal dissatisfaction and wondering how smaller employers seem to be able to provide better coverage.
Also, these changes were not revealed until shortly before the enrollment process began, so there appears to be zero chance of any feedback making any difference.

Various packages to select. Pretty standard packages/premiums - probably a little better than most, worse than others. Varies by location

Cheap for the size company that IBM is. Not the way to attract the very best talent. Lot's of opportunities to improve.
