Work From Home

As of July 2021, Intermountain Health formally adopted a remote work model for caregivers who are able to fulfill their roles from home. Flexwork is Intermountain’s internal hybrid telework model that allows our caregivers the choice and flexibility to work their way—as it fits business need—whether that’s in-office, at home, or a combination of both. About 70% of Intermountain caregivers employed in remote work eligible positions have chosen to adopt this telework model.

Remote caregivers are eligible for a standard technology package to support their role and interactions. Caregivers also have access to our IS Service Desk for support with technology problems and assistance and the Microsoft Teams platform for collaboration, meetings, and chat interactions.

We recognize and have experienced the immense value of being able to expand our talent pools and employ caregivers from across the United States, whether or not they live within our service areas.
